For current ways to connect with Mary’s work, you can:
Faith is very important to me, especially during my hard times. That connection with God helps me stay positive no matter what I’m dealing with.
Faith, family and friends are important supports for me and what I turn to when I need extra support. And in times where I need it most, they are always there to remind me that everything will be okay.
I want to let you know that you aren’t in it by yourself, and their love will give you the comfort you need. For me, it’s like I’m walking through quicksand when I don’t talk it out with God. Every step takes all my energy and I still go deeper and deeper no matter how hard I try if I do it on my own.
But with God I’m lifted to solid ground and can walk steady and straight towards my goals. I’m free and can do everything so much easier and faster with the strength God gives me. God doesn’t do it for me – after all I have my “free will” to make my own choices. Instead God gives me the strength when I go to Him in faith.
Asking for help is a huge step forward because we can’t change what we first don’t acknowledge. I respect everyone’s right to their own beliefs, as I expect them to respect my right to believe what I believe. For me, I place my future in the hands of God. He know, much more than I, what the future holds for me.
This Easter long weekend, I want faith to rule my life so I can stop the struggle to be everything for everyone. I want to learn to move easier within the flow of my life – that is a lifelong goal for sure!
