For current ways to connect with Mary’s work, you can:
I know what I need to do, but I do it for a while and then I stop. Little habits build on themselves – they matter and it serves us to get to know ourselves better. Improvement comes from within first.
We all have something inside of us that holds us back. We need to turn that pain to our greatest strength. There is a greater you, inside you there is strength. That “you” inside of you needs to come out. You are here for purpose and that is inside of you. You are enough!
Don’t compare yourself to others. Be hungry for change and give meaning to what has happened to you. Don’t just talk about change. Put in the work to move your vision into your reality. Don’t live your life watching others live fully and die with your creative life un-wrapped.
You are custom made, there is only one you so un-wrap your life and live with purpose. Do more, Be more. You are enough! Small mindsets can’t create big visions. People in your life may not see your visions, but don’t let it stop you. Your vision is there within you long before the world will see it. Others can’t see it because it’s our vision not theirs. It’s not theirs to understand – trust that it’s your vision and not theirs.
Why not you? A bad past? That can actually work with you. Experience helps you to never back down, it doesn't matter how many times you fall but how many times you get back up. Be your own motivator.
Try to let go of perfection. I’ve learned that it’s okay that I can’t fix everything. I still give everything my best try – learning to let things go with my Mom’s favorite saying, “It is what it is”, when perfection avoids me.
Widows have to learn on the go, so understand that nothing in your past could have prepared you for this grief journey. Be willing to learn and adapt to all that comes your way. Widows have that unique ability, and I’m thankful for that.
Speak life into your world. In the end you will regret the chances you didn’t take, so take life on. The destination is worth going after, and it all starts with you and how well you know yourself.
