Christmas is a great reason to get out of the house and spend time with friends and family. But sometimes there is an unspoken hassle about who to spend the day with, without hurting anyone's feelings.
Have a family meeting so everyone knows and there shouldn't be any hurt feelings. Going to each child's house every other year is also a good solution.
If you are a very close family, consider coming together as a whole family at one home. If not possible every year then try it occasionally and see how it works.
If there is going to be a change then be the one to change it, lovingly, for everybody's sake. You can't always please everyone but I believe that at Christmas the most important thing is to share the day with your loved ones.
