All widows need to ask themselves, “Where Is Your Power?” The quality of your life, your actions and your accomplishments are all determined by your beliefs.
How many of us go through life hanging onto a belief that we cannot do something, simply because we failed at it in the past? Are we avoiding trying something new because of fear or lack of faith in ourselves?
Be careful not to confuse our beliefs with the facts. Often facts do not back up our fears and because of our own limited beliefs we don’t reach our full potential – our power remains buried.
“What would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail?” Dr. Robert Schuller
When you begin to see the power within you, you will see positive results in your life. Believe in your ability to reach your goals, only then will you take action. You become powerful when you question your fears and bring them to the light by comparing them to the facts.
The challenge for widows is to believe that they have the power within themselves and that they can create the life they want. There is an opportunity every morning for an “aha” moment. A chance to do one thing that day to move your life along a path of your choice. Trying to focus your power on every aspect of your life is hard work, so instead apply your inner power on just one thing at a time.
Be clear on what you want and at the same time be open to something better or different showing up. Find people who have accomplished what you want, discover what they did and model their behavior. Remember when you were successful, the feeling of satisfaction and the power you felt? Whatever you do, never underestimate your power.
